At the Royal Palace of Madrid, The Queen presides over the commemorative event for the 40th anniversary of The Public State Employment Service -SEPE - Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal: previous National Employment Institute, a self-governing body attached to the Ministry of Employment and Social Security. It develops employment policies, manages the unemployment protection system and reports on the labour market. Following the ceremony, she visits the exhibitors of different National Heritage Workshop Schools and learned about the work of the students in crafts such as saddlery, binding, furniture and construction, and gardening.
