The Ark Open Farm in Newtownards

This visit is part of her Early Years Foundation Survey. Meeting with locals to expand the reach of her early childhood development survey, "5 Big Questions on the Under 5s," the duchess aims to hear the community's thoughts "on the most important factors that ensure children become happy adults."  The Ark Open Farm was opened “back in 1990 as one of the first open farms in Northern Ireland specialising in rare breeds of farm animals. Over the years this farm have added to its collection as well as developing its facilities to include indoor & outdoor play areas, quad & tractor rides.
