Welcoming Ceremony in honor of Norwegian Kings

King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway are making a 3 day state visit to Jordan on March 2-4 at the invitation of King Abdullah II. The visit takes place 20 years after the state visit made in the year of 2000 by the King and Queen of Jordan to Norway and this is the first state visit of King Harald to the Middle East. The state visit began with an official welcoming ceremony held in the capital, Amman and King Harald and Queen Sonja were welcomed by King Abdullah, Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein at the ceremony. After an official luncheon featuring Norwegian seafood at the Royal Palace, King Harald and Queen Sonja attended the opening of the seminar "Future Partnerships: Jordan-Norway Business Forum".
