"The Faces of the Queen" (Dronningens Ansigter)

Held at The National History Museum at Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, On June 16, 2020, Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of the exhibition "The Faces of the Queen" (Dronningens Ansigter), created on the occasion of the Queen's 80th birthday earlier this year and portrays the Queen's life, work and special interests. In connection with the opening of the exhibition, a new portrait of the Queen painted by artist Niels Strøbæk was also unveiled. The exhibition involves films, dresses and scenographic elements as well as a large number of portraits.
