#RoyalTrainTour FareShare in Manchester

 DUCHESS CATHERINE
 OF
 CAMBRIDGE
On the second day of their three-day train tour across the country, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Manchester Victoria station on their final stop of the day for a visit to FareShare in Manchester. FareShare is the UK’s longest running food redistribution charity. The organization redistributes surplus food from food businesses to 11,000 charities and community groups including school breakfast clubs, community centres, homeless shelters and food banks. Afterwards, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge watched a special performance by Wayne Ellington and Manchester Inspirational Voices, presented by Band on the Wall, a local independent music venue which has been supported during COVID-19 by the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund. During the 3 day train tour, the Duke and Duchess aims to pay tribute to individuals, organisations and initiatives across the country that have supported their local communities this year.
