The Spanish Association Against Cancer is a non-profit, private social entity which has been declared of public utility. It was founded in 1953. The Queen is the honorary president of The Spanish Association against Cancer. The Queen was also informed of the 'AECC Innova', the latest initiative that supports researchers throughout the course of their projects and about the impact of the pandemic on the association activity. The new grants are to help researchers take results from the laboratory to the market.
